As a founding Partner, President and Executive Producer of SPIN VFX Neishaw Ali has been working in the film and television industry for almost 30 years.
Neishaw’s creativity and leadership have produced an expansive body of work including over 150 feature films and 32 television series. Her television credits include the Emmy award-winning series Game of Thrones (HBO), Emmy nominated show The Umbrella Academy (Netflix), Midnight Mass (Netflix), and Foundation (Apple TV+). Neishaw’s film credits include the Academy Award-winning biopic Spotlight (First Look), Escape Room 2: Tournament of Champions (Columbia Pictures), Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania (Marvel), and Big George Foreman (Sony Pictures).
Neishaw represents the local film and television industry as the Co-Chair of the Toronto Film, Television & Digital Media Advisory Board, as a member of the Canadian Film Centre Board of Directors, the Ontario Green Screen Advisory Committee, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television Board of Directors. She continues to serve the greater community as a member of International film Boards and Committees, including the Visual Effects Society Board of Directors, the Visual Effects Society Education Committee, and the Visual Effects Society Health & Wellbeing Committee.
Most recently through SpinVFX, Neishaw launched ROTATE, a Virtual Production Studio providing mobile access to the latest in real-time production technology across Ontario. Neishaw is also a founding Partner and President of sister companies JAXX, an advertising post-production studio, and BRIO, a cloud & licensed subscription-based AR, VR & 3D platform, sold to Adobe in 2022.
