Free-spirited Poppy lives for new places and bold experiences, while routine-loving Alex is happiest at home with a good book. Despite living in different cities and wanting very different things out of life, they’ve been unlikely best friends for a decade, bound by a single tradition: one week of summer vacation spent together every year.
But when that carefully balanced friendship begins to shift, Poppy and Alex are forced to confront a question everyone else seems to have already answered. As their annual getaway unfolds, they must decide whether protecting what they have means holding onto the status quo or risking everything to find out if they’ve been something more all along.
