SPINVFX Team Attends Z-Brush Summit 2017
SPIN’s Visual Effects Supervisor/Partner Colin Davies and Concept Supervisor, Cesar Dacol JR attended Pixologic’s Z-Brush Summit 2017 this past weekend in Los Angeles, California.
The largest event for the ZBrush community, the Summit is a three-day event streamed live around the world for digital artists to connect from all segments of the industry. The days include presentations, workshops, portfolio reviews, a live sculpt-off and the ZBrush Awards.

This year, Cesar participated in the live sculpt-off and was a part of portfolio reviews, mentoring aspiring ZBrush artists.
Colin and Cesar also presented SPIN’s work on Disney’s Descendants 2, in a live-streamed presentation, Design for Production. They spoke about the process, as well as showcased the designs and answered audience questions. Check out the full presentation below.
