Our CG Supervisor, Julian Horlaville, brings over 15 years of experience rooted in creative problem-solving and technical expertise. His career began in Paris as a CG Generalist, working on high-end automotive advertising.
After nearly eight years in advertising, including co-founding a boutique studio, Julian shifted his focus to pursue his long-standing passion for film. This transition led him to Montreal, where he entered feature film VFX as a Lighting Artist and Sequence Lead at MPC, contributing to large-scale productions such as the HPA award winning Godzilla: King of Monsters and the popular classic Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
Julian’s combined technical background and leadership experience have since taken him to studios including DNEG, Method Studios, and Outpost VFX. His credits span major feature films such as the Academy-Award winning Top Gun: Maverick, along with popular fan-favourite movies such as The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Captain America: Brave New World and Madame Web, among many others.
At SPIN VFX, Julian focuses on fostering efficient, collaborative workflows while keeping teams creatively engaged, helping deliver high-quality visuals.
