Payroll and Benefits Manager

● Maintain & Update employee Insurance Benefits for all companies: Add, delete, review monthly statements for accuracy, etc.
● RRSP (Ontario): Add/delete members participating in RRSP
● 401K Plan (USA): update employees’ contributions and submit to Capital Group
each pay period.
● MEDCAN: Follow up and review annual MedCan agreement, submit for approval to CFO, ensure all benefits / payment are consistent with previous year. Review and approve invoices as received and submit to Finance for processing.

● Together with Senior Payroll Administrator / HR Specialist:
● maintain payroll updates using DF HRIS system, including entering new hires, exits, and submitting ROE’s
● Prepare monthly overtime entries for each payroll / pay period
● Prepare and commit semi-monthly payroll for all companies
● Prepare annual T4’s for all companies
● Maintain W-2’s for the Atlanta office
● Review employment/freelancer agreements
● Assist Finance/HR Department as needed

● Prepare various labour reports as needed by Finance/CFO for tax credits.
● Annual profit-sharing reports
● Annual OCASE spreadsheet for all projects

● Minimum of 3 years’ business experience in a benefits / payroll or HR environment.
● Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
● Excellent Organizational skills and Attention to detail
● Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or relate Software
