IT Support Specialist & Project Coordinator

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a tech-savvy and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist & Project Coordinator to join our team at the intersection of technology and creativity. In this hybrid role, you’ll provide day-to-day support to our staff by resolving technical issues quickly and professionally, while also taking on project coordination responsibilities to support broader IT initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their impact beyond the help desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for ~200 users across Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and account-related issues.
  • Handle user onboarding/offboarding, asset deployment, and access provisioning.
  • Maintain accurate records in asset management and ticketing systems.
  • Coordinate and help manage IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, equipment rollouts, software adoption).
  • Communicate project timelines and progress to stakeholders across creative, production, development, and administrative teams.
  • Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and project plans.
  • Maintaining and documenting asset inventory: hardware, software
  • Receiving merchandise and checking delivery slips
  • Collaborates with the Accounting team to process purchase orders (POs) and track IT-related expenditures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–4 years of experience in an IT support/help desk role.
  • Familiarity with Linux, macOS and Windows, Google Workspace, and basic networking concepts.
  • Exposure to project coordination or task tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Experience in M&E is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to support both technical and non-technical users with patience and clarity.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience supporting remote workforce (e.g. PCoIP).
  • Familiarity with cloud systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker, Podman)
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Intune, Bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus but not required.
