
The Senior Producer is responsible for managing artists’ schedules, budgets and client expectations for all of our film and episodic VFX work.
Description:
- Work in conjunction with VFX Supervisors and SPIN Executive Producer / President to quote and manage work
- Track and record all changes to scope of work and verify change orders are correct
- Work with Creative Resource Manager to ensure staff are assigned and maintained throughout the duration of the project
- Serve as the primary contact between client and SPIN as it relates to the project, new work, changes and billing issues
- Ensure all project deliverables are determined and that all shots are delivered according to schedule
- Work with accounting to ensure all invoices are sent according to contractual or the pre-determined schedule as set by Executive Producer / President
- Anticipate special project requirements (software, hardware, space) and ensure needs are communicated
- Report overall project status to the Executive Producer / President as required and during weekly production meetings
- Monitor overall Bid vs Actual
- Create delivery schedule for the project and maintain weekly client status reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience within the film and television industry with combination of
- Visual Effects Coordinating and Producing experience
- Highly motivated and works well with a team of artists, coordinators, VFX supervisors, etc.
- Experience with Shotgun Studio, Smart Sheet, Filemaker Pro, spreadsheets and software.
- Excellent listening, writing and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Existing contacts with freelance artists within the Visual Effects Industry
- Calm, organized and methodical in your approach to the work
- On-set experience
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of talented production managers, supervisors and artists
- Proven track record in project management
- Capable of motivating and leading teams on various projects with confidence and clarity
