As Animator, you will work under the direction of the Animation Lead, and you will spend your days:

  • developing performance and movement for objects
  • generating movement for creatures and characters
  • working hands on with live action film and television productions
  • keyframe matching cinematic performance of characters, vehicles, and props
  • operate with tidy graph editor
  • Clean up motion capture data and seamlessly add additional animation keyframe
  • Establish and maintain scene continuity across animated objects or characters
  • Design full CG camera with cinematic performance
  • Listen to, and implement the creative vision of the Animation Director and VFX Supervisor
  • Operate and offer accurate timelines to support project deadlines
  • Evaluate and dissect rigs to offer feedback in order to accomplish the intended performance

You must have:

  • strong artistic skills
  • minimum of 3 years experience creating convincing performance and motion for live action feature film and television series
  • a strong sense of camera work and framing for full cg or previs shot creation.
  • working knowledge of Maya
  • understanding of all aspects of 3D animation
  • the ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas
  • the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • the ability to meet deadlines and follow directions
