Spin VFX is honoured to announce their win in two categories at the Visual Effects Society’s 12th Annual VES Awards.

Spin’s work on Game of Thrones (HBO) picked up Outstanding Created Environment in a Commercial or Broadcast Program and Outstanding Compositing in a Broadcast Program. The Game of Thrones VFX Production team, led by VFX Supervisor, Joe Bauer and VFX Producer, Steve Kullback, took home the distinguished Outstanding Visual Effects in a Broadcast Program award, adding to their Emmy win last fall.

GOT-25FEmmy award-winning VFX Supervisor Doug Campbell and two-time Emmy nominated Supervising Producer, Luke Groves led Spin’s team to deliver over 200 shots for the third season of Game of Thrones, including Mance Rayder’s Camp, the Direwolves compositing sequences in the Northern Forest, CG crows, the 3D Unsullied Army, the Twins matte painting and The Wall 3D environment.
